I’ve had email contact with both Ms. Judi and Laura Goodwin. Judi was kind enough to give me some perspective some years ago when she saw my postings in another newsgroup.
Laura takes a lot of ribbing and jibes from many people in the BDSM community here in Connecticut, and on the web. She’s outspoken and has some ideas that are a bit… off-center. But she’s serious and passionate about what she does, and it seems to work well for her. Plus, she’s got a great sense of humor and is a Star Trek nut. What’s not to like about her?

I have wondered a bit about Goodwin. She was a member of the Church of Mankind (or some name like that). William Bond was involved with them if not one of the founders.
