Seriously, I think that because you write intellectually - and sometimes with a bit of detachment - that it scares off people who have nothing to offer up but opinions. Your comments sections, though, are not filled with idle chatter, but with serious discussions. I think that if you changed your tone, the quality of the discussions would also change.
