Desideratum from F/m Artwork

Having posted the images of clichéd Dommes I’ll turn to a different set of images.

While I don’t greatly admire the draftsmanship of these they capture one of my kinks well enough for me to keep them around.

In an earlier note about F/m illustrations and photography I’m sure I bitched about the depiction of the women. As much as I like a heartless, sadistic glint in her eyes there’s more than the stereotypes of the harsh woman.

Simple surety, power, knowledge of her control: that is enough. As I said I’d like to see some of that along with the delicious cruelty.

Similarly with the guys. One of my favorite F/m artists always shows men looking miserable. Sure I want to suffer.

But there’s more. The gentle ecstasy of adoration. The rapture of worship.

It is too rare that you see a depiction of a man fulfilled by his surrendered, servile role.

But if you survey real F/m relationships you’ll find many men whose joy is in their humility.

Not that the bliss of being beaten and the pleasure of pleasing are easily separated.
