Femdom Porn
» BDSM, D/s, S&M: Speculations
After writing my note about the effect of the Other World Kingdom on my fantasy life I started a few forum threads about the potentially baneful effects of Femdom erotica.
I’m not going to repeat my longish post here.
But I’ll ask: do you think that the images of heartless bitches, mean bitches and the like have the effect of getting submissive guys so caught up in their fantasy life that:
- They focus on their fetishes
- Begin to forget that the Domme is a person
- Seek to serve their lusts and not the woman
- Are too fixated to really be obedient
- Are unable to communicate properly
- Become just horny and selfish
I’m by no means anti-porn (though I don’t care much for it).
But it is worth wondering: do the female domination porn sites that show nothing but a mean woman tormenting a man destroy many a submissive man’s capacity to actually talk to a woman as a person and not a superhuman domination machine?
It is interesting to see what some men think of as being submissive.
Recently I read a man write of his desire to perform cunnilingus as submission. It is certainly a form of erotic giving. But lad mags like Maxim are full of advice on how to properly perform oral sex on a woman.
It is fun. And - while I’m all in favor of it - the act seems as much like lust as anything else.
Anyway, if you have any feelings about Femdom erotica - porn - as something that distorts or confuses the genuine D/s qualities of a relationship I hope you’ll share them with me.

Absolutely, Ithinks it a very real problem and one which guides a sub to stray from reality

Honestly Im not sure if it is more misleading than looking at big breasted playmates and expecting the women you date to match that ideal.
But it must contribute some to many want-to-be submissive guys confused and messy attempts to communicate with dominant women in a way that leaves the woman anything but interested in replying.

I think it can. I also think that for SOME men, patronizing prodommes can as well. I dated a couple of guys who were big clients of prodommes, and their endless lists of how I wasn’t femme enough or wasn’t haughty enough got very old very quickly. I’m an androgynous butchy top who switches from sweet and cuddly to wanting to inflict intense pain at near-random, but is rarely into Strict and Scornful. I just like making people hurt a lot. :) Someone who wants a woman with a very clear and detailed persona isn’t going to be happy with me, or me with him.

Aesthetically and emotionally impoverished: androgyny and fluidity are wonderful qualities (sadism as well of course).

I think one day this will bite femdom women in the ass. their systematic psychological abuse of the male of the species will breed inevitable reaction.
