Holy Virgin Femdom

The other night I was reading about St. Anne.

Centuries ago when worship of the Holy Virgin Mary was the supreme cult within the medieval Roman Catholic Church some felt that she was too awesome a being to directly solicit for God’s favor. Some enterprising theologian decided it was probably wisest to pray to her mother. That there’s no mention of Mary’s mom wasn’t a hindrance, hence the invention of St. Anne.

A couple of years ago the discovery of Fundagelical Femdom left me sore amazed.

Given the omnipresence of Marian apparitions and the continuation of Mariolatry it was impossible to not wonder about submissive Roman Catholic guys who helplessly let their adoration of Mary mix with their woman worship - even though such fantasies must surely leave them feeling they are begging to be put in the lowest, darkest pit in Hell.

Researching female domination and Roman Catholicism will have to wait ‘til another time. (My own background is Fundagelical Baptist - I grew up being taught that Southern Baptists are wicked liberals!)

Last night I read of a medieval cleric who wondered how Mary had seduced - ! - the Almighty. What wicked wiles had she used … - … er, to induce him to give mankind a savior? More mysteriously had Mary injured God?

All of which goes to show that despite the roll of chastity in D/s relationship a lifetime of enforce chastity leads to some very weird thoughts, including perhaps a very troubled view of womanhood.

Speaking of such nuttiness have you ever seen the Woman Thou Art God site? If it didn’t seem such innocent lunacy it would be enough to give me doubts about my own pleasure in what I prefer to call Woman Worship.
