When I saw these words by Lady Julia I felt they were really worth quoting here:
And…. for any of you who think the Domme has to always be the strong one I can only say pffft. I don’t think I would have made it through that time if it hadn’t been for those submissives in my life who gave me encouragement, listened to me talk, and distracted me whenever I was willing to chat with them. I sort of withdrew from almost everyone, but many still sent me words of encouragment and love - none asking anything for themselves.
Whenever you are in a real life relationship with a Domme, sometimes you’re going to have to be the one who is strong. She will need you. This does not in the slightest diminish her control - you’re not taking control when she needs you - you’re just there to serve her in this capacity. After it’s over, your relationship will be even stronger.
