Abusing People is Fun

One of the evil character’s lines in a movie I tried watching tonight.
I grew up watching the famous old horror movies from Hammer and by Roger Corman as they hit the theaters.
Years later I watched almost every slasher film made, no matter how bad.
On and off I keep searching for something with the perverse edginess of obscure horror movies of the 70s and 80s (today’s big budget movies often bore me).
The Japanese are famous for dark kinky films.
All Night Long 2: Atrocity promised to be ‘sick’ in a pleasing way.
It was too much for me the sadomasochistic brutality was too close to BDSM scenes at times. Nonconsensual scenes. (Including women being raped.)
At one point I was so revolted - this has never happened to me before even during things like the Incredible Torture Show - that I got up and left the room. No, I didn’t turn off the DVD player. I simply fled my own living room.
Every thought of S&M has been drained. Maybe my empathy for kink will return in the morning. I could believe it won’t return for a week.
Doris Day - where are you when I need you?
