Oh what funny things the libido can make us do.
I’ve been searching Netflix and shuffling my queue daily. By now I must have read a summary and the reviews of every erotic thriller and horror movie with a potentially interesting scream queen Netflix has. I add a few. Move them to the top. Then down to the bottom. Delete some of them.
A few years ago before I removed cable TV I spent an afternoon looking at on demand Skinemax movies. Talk about tedium. Even the fast forward button didn’t make them endurable.

You might wonder why I don’t just download some porn. I’m almost embarrassed to admit it but the bit of porn I’ve watched bored me senseless.
I like looking at photographs of pretty people. With BDSM I get considerable pleasure from a handful of illustrators.
I do have some interesting movies at the bottom of my queue but they are for when Alexandra returns. And I bought what is supposed to be a decent adaptation of Venus in Furs.
With the exception of Russ Meyer the best erotic moments in movies weren’t necessarily intended as such. It can be the way the woman smiles, expresses honest lust or sits in a chair.

The worst femdom movies are the (numerous) ones where the ‘Mistress’ looks so bored and unmotivated that you almost feel bad for her. OWK is particularly bad for that. So bad it’s actually funny.
The other frustrating ones are where you can clearly see the domina is being prompted on every action - she has no heart in it and is just doing what she was told to. Talk about a turn-off.
I did find a few clips where the females truly seem to enjoy themselves… but those are few and far between.

Ha! You’ve half anticipated something I want to write about.
It shows how male-centric most ‘Femdom’ erotica is: you don’t get to see women really enjoying themselves.
Of the OWK photos I used to see there was one woman who really seemed to be having a good time with her cruelty. I keep trying to find those photos again but I don’t know her name.
The movies I remember where the female seems to really be getting a kick out of what she is doing to the guy were horror movies that had that one saving grace.
Maybe I should say the male-centric-producers. I think men who enjoy surrender know that the woman’s pleasure if paramount. But the guys who make the stuff don’t.
