Riding Crops: sure.
On and off I’m bored by the feel of a crop. Even though it hurts. I cannot explain why my masochism suddenly become so finicky. Possibly all the years of focusing on being hit with specific objects in specific places. As much as you may try to approach D/s as an integrated person sometimes the desires formed when young and reinforced through a long period of desire will push themselves forward. I’d never fantasized about them. Never even knew people used them for S&M until I saw them in an online catalog.
Not that I’d want her to stop using her special lavender crop.
Restrictive rules on behavior: yes.
Another seemingly obvious question but everyone has their own way of playing.
One of the reasons for supplying her the list was to try to explain what restrictions, among other things, I felt I could handle and to what degree they invoked enthusiasm or repulsion.

The idea of a crop is symbolic in my mind. All of the pictures over the years have beautiful women in leather, fishnets, spiked heels, and a riding crop.Like a septor, magic wand, pointer,or staff,a crop is an object to project power, authority,or royalty.A woman in this position projects all of these. Now the skill in using this tool is another story. The effect is a very pinpointed type of input. It is a type of communication linked with speach. It can say stop,go,go faster,I don’t like that,I’m watching you,or simply an attention getter. As a form of pain play it is a skill few master.Do you use the slapper only?Do you use the staff and the slapper? Do you use full swings or short quick strokes?Wrap arounds and edge hits are hard to avoid.I love the crop because it is unpredictable, and I learn alot about the mood of Mistress. There are other tools to produce more controled types of pain which we both prefer for pain play.I do however love the crop,in my mind a crop transmits emotions directly into my very being like nothing else.Electric prods are much more direct but the crop has a classic style and tradition.
