Because of splogs (spam blogs) and blogs that are setup only to sell porn Blogger has been purging blogs.
I warned of this weeks ago on one of my other sites.
If you have a Blogger blog learn how to backup your entries to your hard drive incase your account is zapped next.
If you aren’t broke you might want to consider giving Yahoo $2.99 for a domain name and buying some good cheap web hosting. And then moving your writings there.
This was brought forcibly to my attention when I discovered yesterday that Blogger had cancelled the account I setup for commenting on blogs that only allow comments from people with Blogger membership. Which is silly, why should people running WordPress and Movable Type have to join just to give you feedback.
I’m not going to join under another name. If I’ve been commenting on your entries and don’t anymore you know why.
Anybody can click on “Flag” on your blog and say it should be deleted.

i’m glad that you warned me about “Blogger” . . i visit several blogs there (The Sensual Exhibitionist - StripGoddess) and a few others and have only e-mailed my comments to them (looking up their e-mail on the “blog profile) … i was considering registering there , not to establish my own blog, but just to be able to post comments … but now i think i will reconsider since i’d just get “zapped”. ——- beside that, i have so many “log-in” words to remember . . i’m starting to not be able to ‘log-in” on so many sites because i forgot the passwords. ha! :)
