Alexandra has put a collar on me only once. For me a collar is a wonderfully tangible sign of my (temporary) status as her property. She leashed me that night as well. The leash and collar together made me feel like an animal that could go only where its owner bid.
They gave me a small taste of that curtailment of freedom so important to anyone with a slavish side.
