CollarMe So Far

Our story so far …

I have two profiles up on CollarMe. Both bisexual, one top, one bottom.

The top profile is not long by my standards, but longer than most. It is advertising for guy or transgender person who is a masochist. I describe myself as flexible, empathetic willing to consider most things. Stated limits: serious physical or emotional risk to the bottom, scat and feminization as humiliation.

I’ve heard from a few guys. The strongest possibility hasn’t replied to my last message. I asked him a few things. Why is he strongly averse to corner time. That isn’t an interest of mine. I made it clear that I wanted to know if it reflected a psychological or physical (joint problems) limitation. More seriously why he wrote me since his stated orientation is straight. That doesn’t prompt hostility in me. But having spent years as an openly gay man it is an ethical issue and I need an explanation.

Not long ago I erased my old bottom profile and changed to one that uses my real name. One thing I’ve learned from my friendships with dominant women online is most of you like people and not men who are just extensions of their craving for submission. This is a very long - by CollarMe standards - profile. I state that I’m open to mere scenes or more depending on the needs of the other and the mutual chemistry. It is a condensed summation of both my masochism and submissiveness. I suspect it is too complex for the average top on CollarMe. But I did - before I moved to the new account - get a few nice messages from distant dominants saying they liked the profile.

I’m not at all anxious about this. Right now meeting someone is not a priority.

Sometime in the first quarter of the coming year I’ll upgrade an account on Alt.com. That site has far more people in my search range here in Durham than CollarMe has in all of North Carolina. And I know a few people who’ve had luck there. Whatever one things of the service Various, Inc. has a huge market share (and I hope the new owner’s don’t muck that up).
