In the Land of Kinky Profiles
» In Search Of
To no great amazement my top profile gets far more views than the other one. Naturally I go read the profiles of those who have looked at mine. And casually skim the ones by male bottoms near me.
Relationship important
There’s a promising beginning. It was also the sum total of the profile. Given that even the most fleeting and impersonal encounter between two people engaging in BDSM is a ‘relationship’ of sorts it is also meaningless.
One fellow was looking for his “LORD and MASTER.” L&M was going to grind him into the dirt, completely dissolve his personality like an Alka-Seltzer and reassemble the constituent residue into the worthless slave of his desires. The slave would become emotionally incapable of disobedience and would ecstatically grovel at L&M’s feet for eternity forever governed by fear.
It was a long profile and made for hot porn. As of yesterday it had been completely rewritten. The new edition is mostly sensible. Some people do learn.
A “subtrans” (ugh, couldn’t it say submissive transgender person) wrote to ask me what I thought of her profile. It consists of only of a photograph of her en femme. That didn’t surprise me greatly. For many submissive transvestites their whole self-expression is getting people to look at photos of them dressed up. They never meet, much less crossdress in the company of another person.
Cuckolds - rather wannabe cuckold’s - leave the wackiest comments on BDSM blogs. I think I ran across what may be the silliest kink profile I’ve ever read.
It is a verbose, rambling affair. Incoherent. I think he rammed at least three fantasy sequences and possibly resentment against a wife who divorced him together. Only someone wanting to do clinical research will ever write to this guy.

Ah, yes. Ego dissolution. It’s unfortunate when a person’s fantasies bear no resemblance to something that could happen in reality.
I enjoyed reading your profile. Are you getting any pursuable responses?

One nearby possible. There’s someone I’m interested in a bit but he’s wholly inexperienced (yes, that is sexy) and about 170 miles away.
No rush on my part. But if I want to seriously pursue this then I think alt.com will eventually become a must.

Alt.com is just as bad in my experience. But then again I only put up bottom profiles.

I know.
You live in a far more densely populated area. There are only a handful of CollarMe profiles near me in RTP. Alt.com has several orders of magnitude more people.
