The Doghouse is a site I’ve looked at on and off: buried in the website’s obscure navigation is quite a bit of gay male master / slave lore. The other night I registered with the intent to craft a profile for their listings.
Thanks to the Doghouse’s browser test I discovered that it is built on a Microsoft technology called layers that Firefox doesn’t support. The site proved much more friendly in IE. But attempts to fill in the all important location part of my profile resulted in server errors. My efforts were futile: I couldn’t get myself assimilated.
My interest in adding a profile to the Doghouse stemmed from two things:
The site has been around for many years.
The Doghouse focuses on an owner / property model that interests me should it be possible to find a top who can distinguish between roles and reality. 24/7 TPE is seductive but unlikely to ever be something I could endure.
I also examined another gay male BDSM dating site but met the usual problem: too few members here or near Durham, NC.
