Bell Torture Collar

I have wondered both academically and seriously how sleep deprivation might affect me in D/s. A Domme I knew had one friend who was very committed to it. While the bell collar might keep me from sleeping I suspect it would mostly force me to stay very still lest it drive me batty.
The collar was fastened around the neck and the bell hung above the head, ringing at even the slightest of movements. Originally used by jailers to keep tabs on prisoners, it was also used to keep the prisoner awake for lengthy stretches of time.
