Masochist gone mad?

After the fact I realized I must’ve been in a slightly crazy mood when I ordered a batch of pain causing instruments from Adam & Gillian’s catalog. With Alexandra away it isn’t as if they will be seeing any use in the immediate future.
But did I really mean to order the Rattan Carcass Beater? My guess is that I’d started to order the leather one but my mind skipped a beat. Decorative but formidible looking.
But I can only wonder what Alexandra will think of it when she sees it.
Anyone who reads this have experience using one or being on the receiving end?
