Punitive methodology we aren’t apt to see revived. Reputedly used to punish drunks, hence the name drunkard’s Rimba.

Like most Rimba-based punishments the suffering was in the public ridicule. Though I’d feel ridiculous in that mask even if I were in the house by myself.

Could be revived for fetish parties.
