Quirky Quirts
» Instruments
This entry is really for Alexandra. I thought I’d post photos of some of the things I’ve bought while she was away. Give her a chance to plan as it were.
Brass Whipsicle
The catalog describes it a great gift for someone who has everything. I never could really manage to test it on myself so I don’t have a clue how it’ll feel.
Cowboy Quirt
Made of braided latigo leather and much more menacing looking than the photo suggests. Very slappy from my limited tests on myself and seems to have the capacity to satisfy the greedy masochist.
Cuban Quirt
Thick and solid black leather (the one in the middle). The Down On My Knees Laboratory’s report is “Ouch!”
Strap Leather Super Basic

Made of the same leather used to make straps with the edges left square. As the catalog says “one mean sonofagun.” It leaves me caught between shuddering and saying “Yummy.”
And there’s also the Carcass Beater and the Jack in the Pulpit.

Itll be about a month before I get acquainted with them but Im sure it will be a love-hate relationship for me.

i have that same sort of relationship with the single-tail. When ever T brings out the single tail, part of me wants to turn around and ask what the hell He’s doing, and the other part of me gets all … squishy.
But i digress. :)
