Domme of Decades Gone
» Miscellany
While I’m by no means immune to the allure of the convex and concave magic of a beautiful woman’s body and leather and latex I barely register the supermodel dominatrices guys often post to blogs.
This, found on a vintage photography newsgroup, pleases me greatly.

Sadly even the original larger image isn’t much clearer. We’ll try a detail:

The earliest photograph of a dominant woman I’ve ever seen. Mysterious behind her mask, holding one of those canes some of us come to know all too well.
I’m not much one for the idea of BDSM culture really but I do like this sort of an example of the continuity of erotic sensibility. Pity most photos like this were probably long ago consigned to fireplaces.

Interesting. Any idea when and where this photo came from? I’d guess the 1920s.

None at all.
I was hoping you might know.
