Recently one of my projects involved communications with several ProDommes.
Nothing personal and in these cases nothing that greatly impressed me. Mostly because what I was reading involved using the web to attract clients.
No, no that isn’t quite it. Clearly any professional dominatrix who didn’t do that would be foolish. But several of them were uninventive, boringly manipulative. I guess it is just a lack of imagination and talent for self-expression. No crime. Making money in a dungeon doesn’t invest you with clarity, humor or individuality.
But as I alluded to earlier often professional dominatrices give some of the most valued - in the sense they say, well - OK - some of the kindest things - also offer the most insightful responses.
This includes the full spectrum: women who offer live sessions, do cyberdomination, telephone Dommes: somehow they make some cash through the web.
But I don’t think I’ve shared the full depth of the irony. This precedes this website, my being involved in an F/m relationship.
I might be writing about what I do for a living - nothing sexual - or some aspect of my relationship with other guys when that was where my sexuality lay. Backtracking to their website I’d discover the woman was a ProDomme (a term I didn’t even know).
And to this day when I’m feeling weary and drained it is likely to be a woman who dominates men for money who will offer the most sympathy, invite confidences if I’m in need of consolation.
Not that I’ve ever had any sort of session with a pro. (Which is a pity because long ago I did mean to see what it would be like to have an experience with a professional sex worker.)
Ladies, I hope I don’t blow your cover when I reveal you as the empathetic women that you are.
I’m just taking a moment to delight in the ironies of truth vs. expectation and depth and variety of experience.

Im not really a connoisseur of pro sites (having at this point never had a professional session). Her personality and humor come through clearly. As much as a man involuntarily admires a pretty woman with D/s it is the womans words that really create her virtual presence. Matisse with her blog is probably the best example.
