What could be homier than a few whips, canes and quirts.
One project I can tackle while Alexandra is away is getting more stored in the closet but easily accessed. Right now there are four boxes of wicked devices under the futon.

You’ve been away for two months, almost to the day.
I’m having one of my bouts of insomnia tonight. Been thinking how wonderful it will be to just see you come down the walkway at the airport.

The last time I went to visit someone, I checked my implements, for reasons which are obvious.
Except for the cane (hey, it’s a wooden dowel—not at all suspicious, right?) most of them fit nicely into my boots.
This amused me no end. Cruel shoes.

I’ve been trying to find some narrow container for holding canes. Haven’t liked anything I’ve seen. Hadn’t thought of using a boot that she doesn’t care much for. Thanks.
