Kajirus

If you are familiar with Gor - the lifestylers, not the fantasy novels - then you probably think of it as a particularly stringent form of Maledom/femsub relationship.

Surprisingly there are also male slaves in Gor who serve free women:

A kajirus is the male form of a Gorean type slave. While kajira is for a female Gorean type slave, and the plural form is kajirae.

A Gorean slave is different than what is termed as a ‘normal’ BDSM slave. The Gorean level of submission can be described as much deeper, detailed, and serious.

Gorean slavery is not for everyone, but if you have a great desire for beauty, grace, honor, tradition, and symbolism then this type of slavery and training may be for you.

It is highly warned however that if you do start down this path of training that any impact from failure will be more intense than anything you’ve ever suffered before. If you fail and do not achieve your goal of becoming a Gorean slave, then you will not only suffer, but also She who you belong to.

The path of the kajirus is very hard and very serious. The decision to take it should also be taken with such seriousness.

Thank you!

I am still unhappy with the Gorean version of the “Free Woman.” And I still think John Norman’s writing style is dreck.

But some rather seductive stuff here. More than I’ve found in my half-hearted attempts to figure out Gor and whether there was anything there for me.

I don’t much care for Norman at all. The fundamental assumptions are just too sexist for me to be comfortable with them.

I would really - very much - like to know what you get out the site.

I’ve been thinking that I may need more ritual, rules to help me fully surrender to Alexandra when I want to.

While I don’t want to get into Gorean lore there might be some general principles that we could incorporate to get more readily in an place in myself where I can worship her, which would make me very, very happy.

I found the site worthwhile enough that I bookmarked it and sent the link to my own pet.

I was profoundly disappointed in the site’s Gorean links, which I checked out, hoping for something similarly thoughtful. On-line collarings being presented as meaningful strikes me as profoundly odd and just this side of self-delusional. (The ability to type prettily about ways to serve wine being a useful skill just eludes me, though I’m sure it makes some happy.)

Like you, I find Gor profoundly sexist.

What I liked… I found the positions illustrated by a male model useful and evocative. My pet and I use positions; they are convenient and he seems to find it helpful to be reminded of his place with them. I do not use made-up names for them (“ko-lar”? “Leasha”? Oh please!).

It is very handy to be able to park a submissive with a single word command. And telling him to kneel up to be petted is very convenient for both of us.

Some of the Training sections I found worth a read; the sections on manicures, oral sex, etc. were short but included good information, I thought. Even scat (an activity in which I have zero interest* was presented thoughtfully and in a practical manner. I haven’t seen that before (and doubt I would if I were to go looking).

Some of the information on servants does not apply to my situation, but would be useful for someone into Victorian scenes. “Training with Miss Abernathy” includes references to things like this.

Overall, there is an interesting, broad-based collection of articles here from a variety of sources, ranging from how to wash a car to tips for finding a pro Domme. Good bibliography, too (much of it the same books I would recommend, whether the person inquiring was Gorean or not).

Thanks. I’ll have to give the site a more thorough look. Perhaps Alexandra would find some of it of interest.

I can’t even remember how I found the site. I had no idea this side of Gor existed.

The “kajirus” episodes, and one complete book, are the only thing about the Gor saga that make it worth while for a true sub male.

Your feelings?

Please share your feelings about Kajirus. Please stick to the topic of the entry. Forthright disagreement is fine as long as it is civil.
My thanks,
