Fantasies : Unlikely & Impossible
» S&M Fantasies
On a fetish forum I read a post by a guy admitting that he had impossible, dangerous fantasies. Was there, he asked, any reason to not post those to the forum.
The question surprised me. Sharing our kinky wishes, even those we dare not try to live seems one of the obvious reasons for having forums and publishing weblogs. Most people can’t share their atypical erotic passions with friends, family or - most sadly - even their lovers. A public space in which to vent the psychic pressure is one hopes at least mildly therapeutic.
Being stretched out on the rack. Dangling from the ceiling via manacles locked around my wrists. Some of my earliest masochistic images: not likely to happen. Admittedly given the money and extreme caution you can be racked. But it isn’t likely. And by the time hanging helplessly by your wrists started to bend your brain your shoulder would be dislocated.
Oh, pity a masochists suffering at not being able to suffer.

Anyway, to this day I revel in imagined confinement and torture that I don’t expect to actually experience. This must be true of any but the most bafflingly balanced masochist.
I don’t let my impossible perversions stop me from enjoying what real life offers. Similarly I don’t expect my beloved to subject me to anything she comfortable in inflicting. My feverish dreams don’t damage my relationship.
The 24/7 Supermasochist Channel stays live but I keep the programming in perspective. I enjoy sharing my nutty cravings with you and hearing yours.
So if your heart sings when you picture yourself crushed by a forty-foot woman enjoy your fantasy. Besides it isn’t as if you can find such a giantess.

Well, I didn’t see the forum post in question of course, but if you said he mentionned his fantasies to be ‘dangerous’, maybe they were actually somehow illegal?
Personally I think censorship on BDSM forums is hypocritical - how could a fantasy be ‘illegal’ - and reek of a strong ‘thought police’ stench.
But then again if someone posts something illegal on a forum, and the admin is deemed responsible for the content of their own site, I suppose it is indeed the admin’s duty to delete the said post. Not an easy situation to be in.

This was on a crush forum. Not one of which I’m a habitué (once again I was backtracking visitor traffic).
I’m not aware of the forums I most often visit (Orgasm Denial, Collar Chat and The Fetish Forums) being censored at all.
I can see an admin deciding to remove entries that are mostly pornography. Not that I’m away of any kink forum moderators doing that.
But given the depredations of the current DoJ and Chris Wilson languishing in jail in Florida I can easily imagine site operators becoming almost obsessively circumspect.
I went through and cut out some images.
I’m having too much fun talking about my perv side right now to want to stop.
